My name is Harrison Whitten, and Whitten Brothers Automotive is a family business that I am proud to help carry forward. My great grandfather started this business on Broad Street in Richmond, VA, back when Broad was still a dirt road. I grew up locally and graduated from Collegiate High School before attending the University of Georgia.
I enjoy what I do and am particularly proud of the many ways our business can serve others. We strive to be active in the community, and we’re proud to have started the Whitten in the Community program in recent years.
I love the outdoor recreation opportunities that are so abundant in Richmond, VA. I love to kayak in the James River and spend a lot of time on the trails in the James River Park System.

My name is Zack Cochran & I’m the “other guy” in the commercials (the one on the right in the picture). I’m proud to have the responsibility to operate the Whitten Brothers family of dealerships with my cousin-in-law Harrison Whitten. The majority of my childhood was spent growing up in Charleston SC. I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2001 and I’ve resided in Richmond ever since. My wife Sarah and I and our 3 children reside in Henrico County and when not at the dealerships or at my children’s various activities I enjoy the game of golf and attending as many college hoops games as my schedule will allow. I enjoy the retail automotive industry and I look forward to the many innovations and efficiencies that technology is constantly bringing to our industry. The automotive future is bright for the dealership and consumers alike!

Hey there, I’m Bill Harrison, and I’ve been part of the Whitten Brothers of Ashland family since 2012. I started as a Sales Manager. A couple of years later, I stepped into the role of General Sales Manager — and I’ve loved every minute of it.
My journey into the automotive world began in 1995 after almost 10 years in the insurance business. It didn’t take long to realize I’d found my true calling — working with people, helping them grow, and making sure every customer leaves with more than just a car, but a great experience too.
I grew up in Abingdon, Virginia, went to the University of Tennessee (GO VOLS), and eventually made my way to Richmond. Over the years, this place — and the people — have truly become home. What I love most about my job is the people I get to meet. Some of them started as customers or coworkers and have turned into lifelong friends.
I married my amazing wife Helen back in 1989, and together we’ve raised two sons who now have families of their own. When I’m not at the dealership, there’s a good chance you’ll find me doing something hands-on, whether it’s building something out of wood, running a boat up and down the Chickahominy River, or even flying a plane (I earned my pilot’s license in 2001).
Life’s been a fun ride filled with family, friends, and plenty of adventures, and I’m grateful every day that I get to do what I love surrounded by great people.

I serve as part of the finance and sales management team at Whitten Brothers of Ashland, bringing valuable experience and a strong commitment to customer service. I’ve been in the automotive industry since 2018, with a background in both sales and finance. I’m passionate about helping customers find the right vehicle while making the buying process smooth, transparent, and enjoyable.
Originally from California, I now call Virginia home and enjoy being part of the local community. One of my favorite local events is the Smoketree Zombie Fun Run, which helps bring people together for family-friendly fun.
Outside of work, I focus on spending time with my family and supporting my children’s sports and activities. I like camping and kayaking/stand up paddleboarding (SUP).
I believe that building relationships and providing excellent service are at the heart of every successful customer experience.

Originally from North Carolina, I came to Richmond upon deciding to return to my Southern roots following seven years in New York City. After being here over 20 years, I now consider myself to be a Virginian but maintain some loyalty to UNC and Wake Forest. I have been with Whitten Brothers for over five years in Ashland and several years prior to that at our Southside location. Whitten Brothers is truly a great place to be and I always enjoy seeing both old and new customers.

I’ve been married to my lovely wife Vicki for 31 years. We have two adult children and two grandchildren. I’ve worked in construction for 14 years and been in sales for 16 years and in car sales for 13 years. I still enjoy playing basketball, watching football and basketball when I’m not selling cars. Enjoy going to movies and seeing action flicks… Enjoy spending time with my family and especially the grandchildren!

I was born and raised in the Powhatan and Midlothian, Virginia area and have called this community home my whole life. For the past five years, I’ve been proud to be part of the team at Whitten Brothers, helping customers throughout Richmond, Midlothian, Powhatan, and the surrounding areas with their vehicle selling needs! I’ve always had a strong passion for cars, and I enjoy being able to turn that passion into helping people sell their vehicles for a great price and have a great experience along the way! Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf and rock climbing around the Richmond area!

Born in New Jersey and raised in the greater Richmond area, I joined Whitten Brothers in 2025 as a Mazda Sales Consultant before moving into my current role as a Used Car Acquisition Specialist with the Buying Center. I take pride in helping clients get the most value for their vehicles through a process that’s simple, transparent, and hassle-free.
As a true car enthusiast, I enjoy working with a wide variety of vehicles every day—but more importantly, that passion allows me to understand what your vehicle is really worth and advocate for the strongest possible offer.
Outside of work, I’m an artist at heart, a proud dad, and someone who loves to travel and experience new places whenever I can. I take pride in both my personal and professional life and truly enjoy what I do.

I have more than 25 years of leadership in the automotive industry. Since 1999, I’ve led my teams with passion and determination to be the best. For the past 6 years, I’ve called Whitten Brothers home. In my current role, I’m able to mentor and develop parts and service staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Community engagement is a core part of my mission. I have partnered with the Caroline County CTE Automotive program, J. Sargent Reynolds Community College’s automotive department, and other local schools to discover and develop future talent in the trades. I am committed to building a team that supports both current and future customers in the automotive industry.
I’m a former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps (4 years). I moved to Virginia after meeting my wife. I’ve been immersed in dirt track racing since age 15, competing in Dirt Modifieds and Late Models. Racing runs in the family and continues to fuel my drive to be the best.
At home, I cherish time with my wife and two children. My son is a travel soccer player, and my daughter is pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse.

at Whitten Brothers of Ashland since the start of 2025. I enjoy Whitten Brothers Automotive’s friendly atmosphere and working with our valued family of loyal customers.
I have lived in Hanover, Virginia, my whole life and attended high school right here in Ashland. I graduated from VCU School of Business and chose to start a career in a field I have always been passionate about: the automotive industry. I’ve been interested in racing, off-roading, and working on vehicles my whole life, so I feel right at home with our hard-working, capable, and high-performance brands.
When I’m not matching someone up with their perfect new ride, you can often find me off the beaten path in the mountains, or up at Dominion Raceway running time trials on the road course and tearing down the dragstrip. I’m proud to have a career in an industry I’ve always found interesting, and I’d be pleased to work with you as you shop for your next car, truck, SUV, or performance vehicle!

I was born and raised in Richmond. I spent 20 years in the restaurant industry as a chef and food and beverage manager before transitioning into sales and automotive finance. I’ve now been with Whitten Brothers for 9 years and am proud to be part of a company with such deep local roots.
I enjoy meeting new people and take pride in making the car buying experience as quick and stress-free as possible. Helping customers feel confident in their purchase and seeing them return over the years is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family. I also enjoy photography and gardening, which give me a creative outlet and a way to unwind.

I started my journey with Whitten Brothers 31 years ago as an entry-level cashier, and today I
proudly serve as Controller. It’s been an incredible experience growing with a family-owned
dealership that’s been a trusted name in Richmond since the 1920s. I’m passionate about
strong financial operations, team support, and doing things the right way.
Originally from Keysville, VA, I carry the values of small-town life with me – faith, hard work, and family. I’m also a proud breast cancer survivor, celebrating 5 years cancer free. That chapter gave me strength, gratitude, and a deeper appreciation for life.
I’ve been married to my husband, Allen, 9 wonderful years, and I have two amazing stepchildren, Allen Jr. and Paige. Our home is full of love (and fur!) thanks to our two sweet dogs, Bailey and Molly.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, tackling home improvement projects, and going to concerts.
